Joseph has recently been focusing on the duality of the human mind and how that makes a person not know who they really are and not know which direction to go in, he has done this in both portrait and figurative works.

   This series of work is about the duality of the human mind, through this Joseph is portraying how there is more than one side to each person and nobody, not even the person them self, know which is the true one. to convey this message he has created a collection of works in which bodies are morphing together, in each work you are not meant to know which is the correct face or side, leaving it to the audience to decide.

   The faces are representations of the different sides to a persons psyche and the different expressions further show the different sides of ones mind.
